On the previous page we showed the Parts-List starting from the top level. If one of the sub assemblies is selected that assembly is instantly broken down to its component parts which are displayed to the right.
Using the multi-level editor you can move quickly up and down through the levels of our parts list making any changes you want to the assembly.
Any changes you make to the sub assembly here are instantly reflected in every other product that uses this same sub assembly.
This is the 'Editing' view of the assembly. We can also change the view so that it appears as a a standard 'Indented Bill of Materials'. (see the next page)
